Ia menyebut hal tersebut merupakan hal positif.
“Kalau pimpinan Golkar di Provinsi sudah mendukung pak Amsakar, saya ikutlah mendukung beliau, kan mengikuti kebijakan partai,” kata Ansar Ahmad yang juga kader Golkar Kepri.
Disinggung apakah Amsakar Achmad berpeluang bergabung dengan Golkar, Ansar menyebut itu merupakan hak Wakil Wali Kota Batam. Ia menyebut Golkar membuka pintu seluas-luasnya untuk Amsakar Achmad.
“Itu (gabung) tergantung Pak Amsakar, saya lihat kan Golkar Provinsi sudah membuka pintu seluas-luasnya untuk Pak Amsakar,” ujarnya.
