Wakil presiden terpilih Gibran Rakabuming Raka (foto:antara foto/beritakarimun.id)Solo, beritakarimun.id – Wakil presiden terpilih Gibran Rakabuming Raka resmi mengundurkan diri dari jabatan Wali Kota Solo. Surat pengunduran diri tersebut sudah diserahkan secara langsung ke Ketua DPRD Solo.
“Terima kasih, teman-teman media, hari ini kami mengantarkan surat pengunduran diri kepada Bapak Ketua DPRD Kota Surakarta, selanjutnya agar diproses sesuai mekanisme yang ada,” kata Gibran di gedung DPRD Solo, dilansir CNNindonesia, Selasa (16/7/2024).
Gibran mengungkapkan salah satu alasan mengundurkan diri adalah persiapan pelantikan sebagai Wakil Presiden 20 Oktober 2024 mendatang.
“Selain untuk persiapan pelantikan 20 Oktober nanti, tentu banyak hal yang harus disiapkan sekarang,” ungkapnya.
Dia juga memohon doa agar dilancarkan segala urusannya. Ia juga mengucapkan pamit kepada awak media.
“Saya mohon doa agar semua dilancarkan. Makasih sudah ikut mengawal program pemerintah di tiga tahun terakhir. Makasih sudah jadi teman baik saya, memberitakan hal positif untuk perkembangan Solo. Mohon pamit, maaf jika ada yang salah,” pungkasnya.
